Barbara Bessolo is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Gravetti Corporation.
Throughout her career, Barbara has distinguished herself as an inspirational
and effective leader, serving as Senior Vice President of Technicolor’s World
Wide Set Top Box division and President of Technicolor – Connected Home
Americas. She was responsible for managing a $2B+ business in the United
States and Latin America serving large-scale accounts such as AT&T/DIRECTV, VRIO, Comcast, Charter, Verizon, America Mobile, LGI, TelMex, Televisa, Oi, CableVision, Telefonica, MegaCable, and others. Under her leadership, Technicolor’s profitability was transformed as it became the top supplier of video and data CPE products in the United States and the top supplier of video CPE throughout Latin America.
Born and raised in Argentina, Barbara exhibited leadership and a strong work ethic from an early age. While excelling in school, she was part of the
Argentinean Pan-American and Olympic Committee, became the All-Around
South American Rhythmic Gymnastics Champion, and the three-time
Argentinean Rhythmic Gymnastics Champion. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Master’s Degree in inorganic industrial chemistry from the Catholic University of Argentina and attended the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Development Program.
Barbara resides in Indianapolis with her daughter, Sofía, and her father,
Miguel, who has joined them from his home in Argentina.
Robin has more than 20 years of Networking Technology startups and Service Provider experience including NetCentric, ADC Telecom, Bigband Networks, Cisco Systems, Airvana, Verizon, DirecTV, and AT&T. He also is the owner of 20+ patents in the areas of Networking, Wireless, Security, Video & Ad-insertion, embedded hardware and software designs & Cloud technologies.
Most recently, Robin worked at the AT&T/DirecTV Entertainment Group with over 35 million video subscribers and 14+ million broadband subscribers. At AT&T/DirecTV, he was the Technology lead for Broadband road-map, strategy as well as execution. His expertise includes Technology strategy for AT&T/DirecTV Broadband (DSL and Fiber), product development, architecture & execution, software & embedded hardware development, Cloud architectures, machine learning, and IP video streaming.
Robin led the software architecture and design team of 100+ in-house developers who developed the software stack internally codenamed Turquoise (which delivered strategic savings of tens of millions of $) and future technology roadmap of Cloud technologies for Broadband. He was also key in conceptualizing, architecting, executing and delivering the multi-room DVR Gateway HS-17 (4K + HD) as well as Broadband routers for DSL and GPON Fiber. (BGW210 – over 2 million devices deployed in customer homes). Under his leadership, he turned the Broadband Turquoise SW concept from a Powerpoint idea to delivering 4 releases per year in-house at AT&T in 18 months.
Robin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Osmania University, India. He lives in Westford, Massachusetts with his wife, sons, and dog & enjoys Ligne Claire art in his spare time.
Gravetti, Chief AI & Analytics Officer
John Crupi has over 25 years' experience with enterprise systems, advanced visual analytics and, machine learning. He has 15 patents and is one of the main architects of the Gravetti Edge Analytics platform.
Before joining Gravetti, John was the SVP of Analytics at Greenwave Systems and the CTO at Predixion Software where he led the design and development of what would become the foundation of the Gravetti platform. He also spent eight years as CTO for startup JackBe (sold to Software AG).
John is a recognized AI and Analytics expert, sought-after speaker, and has successfully architected enterprise analytics solutions.
John has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Engineering Administration, with a sub-focus in Artificial Intelligence from the George Washington University.
John lives in Bethesda, MD, with his wife and two daughters, and is also an avid robotics engineer.
Jeff has over 25 years of financial leadership experience. Prior to joining Gravetti, Jeff provided consulting services for the past three years to various companies confronting both financial challenges and potential opportunities.
He spent 17 years at Technicolor leading the finance organizations for the WW Set Top Box division and the $2B+ Connected Home Americas division.
Jeff has extensive experience in controlling, forecasting, analyzing new programs/products, reporting, cash management, and business planning. He was an integral part of Technicolor’s profit margin and cash performance improvement as a partner with the business and operations teams to drive profitable growth.
He has worked at Fortune 500 electronics and software companies.
He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University.
Jeff lives with his family in Indianapolis.
